City don't need to balance the books at all, still awash with cash from last season from the outgoings last summer and the sale of Torres in Jan. Add to that prize money from the champs league, premier league etc, and I'd say it's the most productive income seasons everI wonder who she got the idea that City need to balance the books from! To my mind if Barcelona can buy Bernado they must be doing something against FFP.

Not a expert on footy finance regarding Barca but sure I read somewhere that they were €1.5 billion in the debt now some on here are quoting a €700 mil deal to them which still puts them at a massive debt. How on earth in the real world can they buy and pay over the top wages?
