General transfer rumours

Chelsea to give Koulibaly a 5-year contract. When City were chasing him, there was a question over his age even back then. Pairing him with another old dude sounds interesting. Tuchel and the American must want to win now before starting a rebuild process in a season. The sudden departure of the Russian has left the Chelsea squad in a mess.

5 year contract.. Fucking hell. That cant be right. Boehly going totally anti-Marina just out of spite. Previous poilicy was to not give multiyear extensions to post-30 players or something like that..

Edit: And his wages is gong to be absolutely massive as well Ive just read.. bloody hell
Theres no way Barca can compete with that contract.

Bernadeschi has left Juve to sign for Toronto in the MLS. Seems a very odd move for someone in their prime at 28 to join a retirement league. Maybe they are paying him a fortune, they signed Insigne from Napoli as well

Toronto FC: Federico Bernardeschi joins from Juventus on free transfer

Very much not becoming a retirement league, anyone who goes there to retire ends up bitterly disappointed and don’t end up seeing out their contract

So now that Pep got rid of all our dynamic wingers - is there any rumor about a replacement? Or are we really going with Grealish, Foden + Mahrez into the season?

Well with the false nine being fucked off for the most part thanks to that big Norwegian lad up front we'll have the rest fighting for just two spots.

Mahrez, Grealish, Foden and Alvarez who I imagine will be a Jesus-esque feature out wide.

Palmer will get more minutes even though I personally don't buy into any belief he'll be thrust into the team to any great degree but there's no real need either.

You may include Cole Palmer and possibly Kayla too. Also Alvarez can play anywhere up top including right inside forward.
Don’t look back. Look forward. Exciting times ahead.

I'm sure pep knows a little bit more how he'd like to structure his attack

Lingard to Forrest @ 180k a week? are they mad? If you want to stay in the league you want grafters, skill is needed to but you want your players to be fully on board. Lingard strikes me as the polar opposite of that. Lingard is not exactly skilful, more a pest who gets about when he is arsed. Run rings around him a couple of times early on and his head drops. He will probably have a few good first games then drop off a cliff like he did at West Ham.

Genuinly surprised at this deal if it happens, such a risk for a club that is going to need every player fully focussed for the entire season. Just checked Forrest forums and generally they are onboard with it. In that case lads i am almost certain you are going to pay for this misplaced optimism. He will be busy choreographing a tiktok video with his 10 hired dancers whilst the rest of your team are hammering out tactics.

Width will come from the fullbacks .

Crazy, crazy deal if true, that dressing room will be destroyed with that idiot on 180k a week, 100% relegation material now.
