For me.......Just let him choose his own renumeration, give him a blank cheque.

That’s never going to happen. One person is told, he tells the wife or a mate, they tell another mate, it’s then on a football forum

Why? Equally believable that they are buying, and selling, a post-pep team.

Not that I myself believe that, still mostly think he will extend, but if you look at Alvarez and Haaland, they are for a future that might outlast Pep even if he extends. And cashing in on Gabi Raz and players instead of a last hurrah with players he has brought to a standard he knows and wants is a valid take too.

I very much think pep would be extending for another 2 seasons. Squad refresh will motivate him as well. New players eager to soak up everything he has to offer

Have a rest…..he’s done it before, not that I think he will just yet, the squad refresh might just encourage him to sign on for a couple more seasons, Peps Achilles heel is he finds it hard to leave players out, especially when it’s continuously the same guys, it’s why he likes a small ish squad. Jesus Sterling & Zinny all fall into that bracket, which should make it a lot easier for him, he now has a good smattering of youth players coming through, a core of 15-17 players with 3-4 new arrivals as well. We have a young hungry squad with competition all over the park, added to that is the new rule of 9 players on the bench with 5 subs per game. It’s starting to feel like Peps second season here squad wise, which might encourage him so sign up for a few more seasons
 
The refresh of the squad gives me optimism he’s staying for the long haul (even more so) given we’re signing youngsters and have brilliant players coming through.

Why would he want to go? He’s worshipped here by fans, players and those around him at the club.
