Bayern Munich (Friendly) | Post Match Thread

Love that you included united at the end.

His movement off the ball, and that of Alvarez, is sensational. We tore the (strong) Bayern defence to pieces. Haaland terrorises opponents. When he's not scoring he will be making vast amounts of space for his teammates. It reminds me a bit of pre-season before 2017/18 and we know what happened next. This is an incredible time to be a City fan.
We are all like giddy school kids.

Watching the Nordic God dismantle teams is going to be a fun watch.

Definitely similar vibes, especially when we get a specialist wide left back in

Very very tight call, Initially I thought he was clearly on in real time, In the still image it's so hard to tell.

Having said all that I thought the officiating in the game as a whole was proper Sunday League standard. Very poor.
The officiating, especially for a friendly, was shocking. He was letting tackles fly in (especially on Grealish) that would have been scrutinised for possible sending off in league matches, with barely any consequences.

Same could be said for the Club America match (again, especially for Grealish).

Luckily we don’t have another there otherwise we could have ended up with a few injured based on the “protection” being given to our players.

Strictly speaking, it should be Håland. Just showing off, and heading for a fall if there happen to be any Norwegian blues looking in ( there is @Norwegian_Blue for a start!) but I think it's a more closed sound than “ah!”, more like “aw!” That's what I heard when I was in Norway, anyway. Right or wrong?

There is a town (well, a village, really) in the group of Lofoten Islands in the far north called Å. That's it, no more. Must be the shortest place name in the world, (or part of a very restricted group). I didn't go there, just to be able to say that I had been to “Aw!”

I've seen it from behind the goal on twitter, but not elsewhere. Although a poor angle to judge offside it didn't look miles off from that angle. Wonder why they omitted it, worth an inclusion surely. Very strange. Below for anyone interested. Anyone got a better angle?

It looked like Bernardo timed his run perfectly

Absolutely Knackered this morning, but buzzing i've seen our new number 9 in action for us.
£10 bet on him scoring a brace at 11/2 was an inch from coming in as well

The ball was played backwards to Haaland but he was marginally offside in the build up and so gained an advantage.
