Hopefully he turns out more like Lavia and Delap than Rogers and Knight. (I know that’s a bit harsh on the latter two but they both cost big money as 16 year olds and haven’t really set the world alight)

I had very high hopes for Morgan Rogers.

Never mind Lavia and Delap, I’m hoping he turns out like David Silva or KDB!
 
I watched this lad twice from what I can remember/look up. Can't remember him doing anything in particular but to be fair, we fucking battered Everton in one of them and Lionel Diego Beckenbauer Messi would have struggled to look half decent.
Our youth scouts are really good, I presume we're onto a winner here.

Did he play in that last game of the season that we won about 7/8 nil, at The Etihad? From memory Everton had one really good player but can’t remember properly?

I was shocked when I read it earlier. In the comments section, a dude posted a link to this thread. It's why I keep my mouth shut when I receive inside info on City. :-|

Also very telling is that Everton received an U17 ban for player approach breaches. I suppose getting the best talent early has gotta be their best way forward for the future, as they pissed hundred of millions up the wall & all they had to show for it was a relegation battle until the final days of the season.
