Let's discuss again at the end of the season then. This is the same player that missed an open goal from a shot that came back off the crossbar last week, not knocking Haaland but all players miss chances if Sterling did he was crucified, but look at his goal record and what he did for the club, yet even today when he is a Chelsea player, certain fans are trying to still slate him
Apart from that I get the feeling you're bursting with excitement at our win and big Brut getting off the mark.If anyone NOTICED. Kyle walker and cancelo played as DM I don't trust walker there anyway. Cole palmer or alvarez should start ahead of grealish please
Haha. Silly boyIf anyone NOTICED. Kyle walker and cancelo played as DM I don't trust walker there anyway. Cole palmer or alvarez should start ahead of grealish please
Looked very impressive when he came on, workrate was similar to Jesus but hopefully a little more clinicalAll the talk will be about Haaland but we've got a player on our hands in Alvarez.
The kid is gonna be a fucking star
Yes one is going to be better on a one vs one as he is an out and out striker, try asking haaland to play out wide and see how he gets onThey were comparing how they approached a one v one on the keeper or picking up the ball when well clear.
That's because he missed so many. This is the same player that missed an open goal from a shot that came back off the crossbar last week, not knocking Haaland but all players miss chances if Sterling did he was crucified, but look at his goal record and what he did for the club, yet even today when he is a Chelsea player, certain fans are trying to still slate him
Right. I've seen Aguero miss sitters. Every attacker in the world does. But since Aguero left we've missed a goal scorer who is natural and who you instinctively back in a one on one. Not a knock on Sterling or Jesus, they had and have many excellent qualities, but they just don't have that killer instinct. I think it's fair enough to say that even in that one moment today you saw someone at complete ease in front of goal.Let's discuss again at the end of the season then.
As I keep saying, I'm not knocking Sterling for his overall efforts and I'm not comparing them as strikers. All I'm saying is Haaland will score more than Sterling did from the same position. That's the point, simple as. I don't know how many times I need to explain it.
If I'm wrong I'm wrong but I don't see it, and I doubt that many other people will too.
Exactly, been saying this since I first heard we'd signed him. I've been very impressed and I think he'll be a great replacement for Aguero in a similar style, which we haven't had since (and yes folks, I know Alvarez is more of a winger but he's good in the box too). Reads the game very well. All the talk will be about Haaland but we've got a player on our hands in Alvarez.

Not comparing him at all. Just saying would he have scored that ? Ive seen on this thread many have said the same thing as me.Sterling scored plenty of belters, look at his goal record for us, why to people want to dig him out? He isn't a city player anymore and to compare him to haaland is foolish, haaland is a striker, Sterling was a wide player
Not slating hahaThat's because he missed so many.
Not slating Raz, I loved him being here and he scored some very important goals for us, it's quite simply a comparison of him and Brut in them positions.
No biggie ;)

But as I have said you can't compare them, as 2 completely different players, sterling shouldn't even be part of the conversation as he is no longer a city player, just like on the Arsenal thread the other night trying to justify why Jesus and Zinchenco were not at the club, quite pathetic reallyThat's because he missed so many.

You need a lie down.Yes one is going to be better on a one vs one as he is an out and out striker, try asking haaland to play out wide and see how he gets on
No it is official just seen it on SSN's breaking news - UNITED REALLY ARE SHIT!Even when I get told they're good !
We are allowed to talk about ex players and we can either big them up or dig them out, we all have different opinions.Sterling scored plenty of belters, look at his goal record for us, why to people want to dig him out? He isn't a city player anymore and to compare him to haaland is foolish, haaland is a striker, Sterling was a wide player
How is saying he missed a lot of chances slating him? Whatever you want to call it, it's a fact nontheless. Not slating haha
