No.Fuck off.
No.Fuck off.
You will be patientWould like to see Haaland and Alvarez have a run in the same team at the same time.
Yep. And then look at who we could bring on as subs. Unbelievable, gives me goosebumps.cancelo, rodri and gundo were fucking superb.
Like you said Sterling and Jesus had their qualities. However Sterling was very poor when having a clear run on goal with just the keeper to beat - more often than not got caught in 2 minds , feet mixed up and often not even getting a shot away! Jesus for all his work rate did not possess a great shot which seemed to typical of most Brazilian strikers. I think that both will get similar goal numbers for their respective new clubs but Haaland will score loads for us!Right. I've seen Aguero miss sitters. Every attacker in the world does. But since Aguero left we've missed a goal scorer who is natural and who you instinctively back in a one on one. Not a knock on Sterling or Jesus, they had and have many excellent qualities, but they just don't have that killer instinct. I think it's fair enough to say that even in that one moment today you saw someone at complete ease in front of goal.
Dead game?Would have been nice to give Wilson-Esbrand a chance off the bench in a dead game given Lb is our biggest position of need.
He was getting grief in the match thread from the experts on here. There's a few on here with a clear agenda against him. Which I find sad. But there you go, that's their choice. No doubt, he’ll be the new "boo-boy", now that Raheem has left.
I too thought Jack was excellent. He kept the right side of their defence occupied all game.
I bet that Rory Jennings is absolutely gutted after today. Ever since we signed him he's been going on and on about how Haaland is going to flop at City.
Cant save pens like thatThe extra cherry on top of today's cake is we have a new Penalty Taker too.
it’ll change every game, that’s why he’s the best in the worldNoticed that Cancelo and Walker barely overlapped at all today and were both playing the inverted full-back role which allowed Gundogan and De Bruyne to play higher up. Coincidentally (or maybe not) both goals came via through balls from Gundo and KDB.
Looks like this might be Pep's solution to not having the natural width from a left-footed LB that he was expecting to have with Cucurella, i.e., to allow both number 8's more freedom to create.
Probably just the space & time he had would have almost certainly led to a Sterling brain fart. Sterling was never good when presented with enough time to think, when it was done instinctively he generally did well. Whereas as soon as we saw him skin the defender everyone expected haaland to score. Why the comparisons between Haaland and Sterling ?
Sterling wasn't a main striker ffs, he still did a bloody good job for us over the years though & that shoudn't be forgotten.
Did you see the bit where the female co-presenter and the presenter touched on the history between Keane and Haaland senior.....Gary Neville and Roy Keane talking about how poor United looked while Alfie's son just scored two on his debut. I feel like I need to pinch myself but also some things never change. The only difference is it's not normally this bright out when I'm sat here on my sofa on a Sunday.
I can only assume that you are either stupid or a bitter Villa fan/Dipper/rag.Contributed nothing. Just hold the ball. Oh I missed Sterling incisive runs. Cole palmer should replace grealish
Totally agree, think Raz was too eager to leave could have really played a part.Guys stop bringing up Sterling as a comparison to Haaland. One is a wide player and one is a centre forward.
Best one I heard today was the "striking viking"You beautiful Norwegian Viking :)
