Sign that bloke behind him as a goalie, he's got the longest fucking arms I've ever seen!

But you can't compare the 2 one is a wide player, and one is an out and out striker, and we did miss a bit of width today in my opinion
You're missing the point. The comparison was just about the fact that we have a player that doesn't miss one on ones. It wasn't an overall out and out comparison of the total merits of each player. All we're saying is we can probably look forward to scoring more from that situation now, it wasn't necessarily knocking Sterling.

Hope all the doubters are doubting themselves on Haaland cause there had been a lot of talk on him flopping

Excellent result, slow start but once we got going...
People giving Jack jip in the Match Day thread...he was very good, especially in the 2nd half...leave him alone. Give Foden stick instead, he was poor.
Great from Haaland, Rodri came onto a game, KDB woke up later on, Gundo was excellent.
Ake solid at the back.
Cancelo got us moving in the 1st half with some good runs and movement.

I thought we were off the pace last week, but much better today.
Been a good weekend for us blue's to have a double and cheeky smile ;-)

We are so fucking good. To go to a tricky place like that first game of the season and completely dictate the whole game is something silly.

We look as comfortable defending as we do on the ball to the point where I sometimes think it’s intentional we sit back just so we can hit on the counter like the second goal. He’ll rake those types of goals in all season because how can teams stop it? Just don’t attack us?

So good.

Oh for Gods sake, the guy has said it himself. No one is expecting a hat trick every week, my main point was how the team makes best use of him.
Reading these forums for the past few weeks, I beg to differ. Plenty think he'll do 50+ this season, and yes, I do realise not all of them are serious.

Noticed that Cancelo and Walker barely overlapped at all today and were both playing the inverted full-back role which allowed Gundogan and De Bruyne to play higher up. Coincidentally (or maybe not) both goals came via through balls from Gundo and KDB.

Looks like this might be Pep's solution to not having the natural width from a left-footed LB that he was expecting to have with Cucurella, i.e., to allow both number 8's more freedom to create.

This is the same player that missed an open goal from a shot that came back off the crossbar last week, not knocking Haaland but all players miss chances if Sterling did he was crucified, but look at his goal record and what he did for the club, yet even today when he is a Chelsea player, certain fans are trying to still slate him
