No, it was far more nuanced than that.Interview : Bernie wants to leave.

It's great isn't it :)Honestly Barca is a fucking mess!
he is going there to retire and collect his pensionmakes you really fucking wonder about the functionality of bernardo's brain if he's honestly intent on going there. Theres no way i'd be committing to a 4-5 year deal at that shambles of a club given their financial situation.
Fair enough Leao could be a fantastic player I just think it would bd a massive gamble coming from Italy. But I also thought it would take alvarez months to get up to speed.I would say the league matter is quite overblown. I believe its much more down to the player. So we can agree to disagree on Leao.
Liar.Interview : Bernie wants to leave.
He can Play as a box to box CM, right? Or is he solely a CDM?I'd take Kessie, looks a decent player
Yeah but that's not all. Yes he wants to leave but he understands that our valuation must be met. So he won't force the move.Interview : Bernie wants to leave.
Christ, he's not even joined them yet!Interview : Bernie wants to leave.
Please tell me where he says that, that interview paints a picture of a man that would like to move but is more than happy to continue where he is if a deal is not reached.Interview : Bernie wants to leave.
I think he's more of a box to box mf now even though he's a physical player. He can Play as a box to box CM, right? Or is he solely a CDM?

Absolutely right. There’s very little mention of our huge academy successes simply because it’s positive news & excellent business.Probably one of the most heart-breaking thing to me, is the lack of reporting from almost all mainstream media of just how good our academy actually is. From the lucrative transfers this summer, to the titles that we have won, to actually having them on the bench, and playing, despite the mountains of cash that we have.
We have one of the best academies in the world, it's one of the driving forces behind our positive net spend. It's started to generate talent that has succeeded, and will succeed outside our CFG. We have loaned out so many of them, to so many leagues, and our scouting and openness is top notch.
If this was Liverpool, or Manchester United, they would not stop talking about it. I hope we get to see more of them this season.
