Its ok to overreact - football isn't rational. The usual over reaction on here to a disappointing result. Ah well; still unbeaten after 6 games. We go on.
a couple of players need calling out here - regardless of the overall team results,

Not on his current form.Foden shouldn't be starting ahead of Alvarez.
But if we had scored our chances and won 3-1 absolutely no one would be questioning Pep. All on the players today. The use of subs is odd though, can't see how alvarez and grealish would hurt when everyone is looking knackered
He’s been poor for quite a while now.Pep is given Foden chances to play himself back into form.
You thinking walker played as a CM says it all...Stop playing Walker at CM.
Give Alvarez a run over Foden now.
It was in the net in a flash, no chanceWhy Ederson couldn't stop that goal? A good goalkeeper would have stopped it.
Really good summing up of the performance. Very lacklustre. Don’t know why Alvarez didn’t come on. Rodri was crap, as was Walker. Very surprised after weds game.Far too slow, too sloppy, too relaxed, everyone waiting for the game to come to them, lack of application, lack of energy, some very fucking poor decision making, and helped out by a terrible decision by the officials/VAR to disallow Villa’s winner.
I know there was a long time to go after that and we could have gone up the other end from the kick off and scored ourselves, but if I was a Villa fan I’d feel massively fucked over there.
But it’s a point, let’s put this one behind us as just one of those shite performances that we deserved very little from because nobody played well.
You must be taking the piss..he had no fucking chanceWhy Ederson couldn't stop that goal? A good goalkeeper would have stopped it.
yes Crystal Palace at home a point.Newcastle will take points off most teams at home - today was a shocker
He’s played one full game. Against Forest at home. That doesn’t put him ahead of Foden or Grealish in the pecking order, yet.Alvarez has to start. He has to be in the starting eleven. He gives us more than any of our other wide players he has to start next game
