Premier League Games 3/4 Sept '22

I know it's early days for this season but Leicester look absolutely woeful so far. Unless something changes it looks like the Championship is beckoning!

Tielemens gave up chasing back then for that second goal. Unacceptable play by him that. The sort of shit that winds fans up more than anything else.

You can give the ball away, miss a sitter, make a howler at the back leading to a goal… but giving up is criminal!

Remember Haaland away at Leeds for us when we were about 4-0 down and he was just walking around with his hands on his hips, seemingly not arsed one bit. Away end was giving him fucking loads of shit for it.
Said yesterday that Tielemans has downed tools after failing to get a move away this summer.

I've heard they are in serious financial trouble similar to ourselves prior to the takeover.

How have they got into financial trouble? They make good money from selling players well over the odds, don't spend a lot and have now had the premier league money for quite a while. Not long ago they were being lauded as a model on how a football club should be run.

I’m not sure are that well run. They failed the EFL FFP with a £21m loss to get promoted.

In 2020-21 they made a £68m loss, and 2021-22 another £38m loss.
