Premier League Games 3/4 Sept '22

So, its just Anthony and not 85 million Anthony then.
Rags last 3 games, each won by the odd goal and corrupt decisions, they were lucky to win each one as the opposition all had more goal attempts and today can see Arsenal playing the football but missing chance after chance and Rags winning

If Arsenal were already ten points clear of us I’d still want them to win today. If I could sign now for us finishing above the rags but not winning the league I’d do it if the alternative was we might win the league but they might finish above us.

A whole decade of finishing above them is just a hugely important milestone to me - if that makes me small time or a bitter blue so be it.

I guess Trafford Ajax will be playing cultured football today, and will be bothering Manchester approach control with a small white sphere !

No, winning the league is all. If that means wanting united to beat arsenal or anyone really it really doesn’t bother me.

The way the pundits are taking about Antony like they’ve watched more than a YouTube highlights reel between them.

I agree... been following what happens at Burnley to see how Kompany is doing... and its been a fantastic start to the season... but still early days in Championship and a very tight league score point wise.
Just needs to convert some of these draws into victories and he’ll have them challenging for one of the automatic spots. As you point out, it’s early yet and no club is running away with it.

Don’t link those cunts to that great club. We are the club with links to Ajax…

Pep came from Barça’s Ajax influenced way to play under Johan Cruyff who took that way to play from Ajax to Barça. Cruyff was influenced by Rinus Michels who was his boss at Ajax. Michels was influenced by Jack Reynolds who was Ajax manager between the wars. Reynolds was a Mancunian who started his football life at City.

City-Ajax-Barça-City, coming full circle from Reynolds to Pep.
