Champions League Games 6/7 September '22

Goal of the night is from Grimaldo. Anyone that hasn’t seen it should look for Benfica’s game highlights.

But you cant score with your hand and arm so why is that relevant ?

You're looking at the wrong player.

The one in white is the offside chelsea player. everything you can see of him is offside, everything behind the wall is onside (look at his lower leg) and you can see the wall cut through him.

Great win for City and some good results in there with a couple of shocks. The usual suspects again will be competing for the trophy. Celtic gave Real a good go but they had too much in the second half. Will be interested to see how the Bayern/Barca/Inter group turns out. I'd expect Inter to be the 3rd placed team but I wonder if Bayern will be able to go further this year and whether Barcelona are more competitive again. PSG had a good win against Juve but I'd still expect them to crumble with their ego's once the competition ramps up.

With 5 quality CBs and options at full back and in DM as well as Haaland and Alvarez we have a well-rounded squad to go and win it this year. We've got the experience of disappointment in the latter stages coupled with some new young talents without those scars and that might combine to great effect and deliver us the one we all don't really want to admit we really do want.

why they got own scottish commentary team
Trying to keep hold of their Scottish subscribers, possibly? I'd imagine our Caledonian neighbours mightn't be too happy if a sassenach was commentating on their teams. Wasn't watching Celtic last night (oddly enough!), so I don't know who was on the mic for that game.

Are Ajax coaches clones?

The boss looks the spit of Ten Peg.

I'm envious of those Glaswegians taking advantage of the local hospitality.
