Fully NATO trained Ukraine forces smash the Russian forces to pieces in the Southern Kharkiv region.
The incompetence of the Russian armed forces is astonishing.
 
Well it looks like Russia could completely lose everything they way the Ukrainians are going, I just hope that prick doesn’t start flinging nukes about as a last resort.
 
The area of land in the Southern Kharkiv region between the Oksil river and the Siversky Donets is a kill zone. (See VI area on the attached map.)

Close the bag at the top (check) and drop all the bridge crossings to the west with HIMARS (check) and destroy any newly constructed pontoon bridges (check) and no Russians in it are going to get enough supplies to stop Ukraine taking it.
It worked the other way round for Russia earlier in the war when they had artilary supperiority and could control crossing points from the East and attacked from the North but HIMARS has totally changed the dynamic.

Maybe a morning in 3 or 4 days time but not today.
Ukraine can take their time. No supplies are getting in for the Russians in the area. No Russian equipment is getting out.
No need to risk anything.
Indeed, a load of weaponless fleeing cannon fodder may encourage troops in the area they flee into to run awsy or surrender on contact with the, clearly, professional Ukrainian forces in the later stages of the campaign.

Yeah,looks to be that way.
I seen a photo yesteday evening,looked like they were going in....as you say,it will fall eventually.
