I think we had 6 league games in October plus cup games

Sounds like it's more due to concerns over policing levels.

Really don't think they can afford to scrap next week's though, so might have to adjust the times depending when the funeral is.
 
Absolutely fucking bonkers decision.

Thousands of peoples' travel plans destroyed. No doubt they will be refused full refunds.
Food bank collections at Premier League games all around the country will no longer be happening.
Freelance workers and minimum wage stadium staff all lose a day's pay at the last minute.

Ordinary people getting fucked over. Again.

It's not because every indication is that this is not what the Queen herself would have wanted.

It's a very poor decision.

Thousands of people would have been able to show their respect in a way they probably would not otherwise have been able to.

The practicalities are also absurd calling games off at this late stage and then having to rearrange them.

It's not the right decision. It's madness, people rely on football for income, pubs rely on match day supporters to keep afloat.

As I've said if people want to pay their respects they can, but ridiculous for people to be able to work but not have leisure.
