Good job Michael Sheen doesn't do the pre-match team-talk for the Welsh national football games. They'd never lose:

Thanks for that Joe. Got it on record. I enjoyed the film too with Eric Bana.Munich Games..... Sky Atlantic.
S1 E1. So far so good, in fact brilliant, right up my street.
Going to watch to episode 3 or 4 of 6 and download the rest to watch on our flight to Gran Canaria next week.
Highly recommended.
Same here. I felt that S1 was good, S2 was a trudge and I dropped not long after S3 started because I found the storyline so unbelievable that I became disillusioned.
I quite like outlandish tv, I’m generally pretty good at suspending disbelief, I’ve enjoyed watching all kinds of sci-fi & fantasy and provided the narrative follows it’s own principles it works fine.
Not everything needs to ring true to be entertaining, but if it isn’t sci-fi or fantasy, if the story being sold is supposed to relate to real life (even in an exaggerated fashion) and a scene has someone having their big toenail ripped out with a pair of pliers but they don’t limp afterwards, not even a little bit, and not a hint of an excuse for it (took an aspirin perhaps?) then both the actor and the director should be in a different line of work because IMO they have no respect for their storyline or their audience.
Others may feel different and, if they can get some fun out of it then fair play to them.
I tried sticking with it but I won’t give it the time of day now.
Yeah i felt the same about Ozark and i add Yellowstone ( just a modern day Dallas but set in nicer scenery) to that too.Same here. I felt that S1 was good, S2 was a trudge and I dropped not long after S3 started because I found the storyline so unbelievable that I became disillusioned.

I watched it too and same impression Rich !Just watched Showtrial. Thought it was good up until last episode which was total shite
Haha, whilst I may not necessarily share your thoughts on the whole, that is actually a very good description of what it basically is.It is basically a hillbilly Eastenders.
I thought WoT was bloody awful. Like it was a childrens programme on a cheap budget and sacked it off after 2 episodes i think. HoD so far im finding ok and not tried Rings of Power yet but really hoping that's a good one.I'm very disappointed with the recent high profile fantasy series on offer: House of the Dragon, The Rings of Power and The Wheel of Time.
Is it so difficult to find good writers and actors?
House of the Dragon is the best of the bunch - still, it's far from compelling - and pales in comparison to Game of Thrones.I thought WoT was bloody awful. Yes agreed on the Witcher. The first series confused the hell out of me with the mixed timelines, but found s2 much better. One i'm going to start soon is 'The Last Kingdom' as i've nothing but brilliant things about that one.House of the Dragon is the best of the bunch - still, it's far from compelling - and pales in comparison to Game of Thrones.
Rings of Power is a bit less good than House of the Dragon. It's OK.
If you haven't started watching The Witcher on Netflix - I highly recommend the show. It's no Game of Thrones - but it's far better than HoTD.
First 3 episodes of 'The Rings of Power' done and a good start i'd say. Visually its stunning and the story is developing slowly but i like that as the world is that vast i really don't want them to rush it. Just little introductions so far to middle earth and the different settings as the plot starts to develop. A lot of new characters to learn, but i'll get there quick enough. Shame they haven't put them all out together like they normally do as its the kind of thing i'd normally watch over a couple of days and that really helps when learning the characters.
Overall a decent start and just from a visual perspective it seems to do middle earth justice which makes it worth watching. No doubt the hardcore tolkien fans will pull it apart, but for me as a lover of the LOTR films i think its going to be an excellent addition.
Yeah 100% and now ive watched three episodes and have to stop that just confirms it. So many new characters to learn and now i have a week to forget it all. These series that follows on story wise I can’t be doing with watching 1 a week or even two or three it’s the whole series in one or two days I do! You just get the feel of the story better imo..
