Such a lovely placeSuch a lovely place
Such a lovely placeSuch a lovely place

I’m sure the memo must have gone out to the party; In the article Truss is quoted as saying several times that the Ukraine war is the main priority. I bet we will hear this many times in the next few weeks when any questions on inconvenient matters like Brexit benefits are raised.
Meanwhile the fat oaf slips seamlessly into his new life now insulated from the shitshow he created and left behind.
Lets wait for the opposition to turn the heat up and try to hold the Tories to account on Brexit!!!
Just another example of people blaming anyone and everything but themselves. Until people are big enough to admit they were lied to and fell for it, there will be no moving on as a nation. These sort should be turning their ire on the lying lot that are still in power.British exceptionalism at its best:
"I missed out on the deadline. Now I don’t want to sit the Spanish driving test on principle."
Is the right approach always.Just another example of people blaming anyone and everything but themselves. Until people are big enough to admit they were lied to and fell for it, there will be no moving on as a nation. These sort should be turning their ire on the lying lot that are still in power.
It's as though the meaning and effects of 'Brexit' was a little bit more than just 'Taking back control'... who'd have thought/could have possibly known...sigh.![]()

Hopes of a free trade deal between Britain and the US have slipped since President Joe Biden took power, as he made it clear a UK deal is not a priority. | ITV National Newswww.itv.com
Still holding all the cards I see

There were plenty who knew, and to avoid rational grown-up debate on the matter, they decided to deride opposite views with terms like ‘project fear’, and of course tell everyone we’d had enough of experts. It's as though the meaning and effects of 'Brexit' was a little bit more than just 'Taking back control'... who'd have thought/could have possibly known...sigh.
Hundreds of thousands of 'jobs' have been lost:I recall 'Operation Fear' by Remainers before the referendum and after the referendum result stating the British economy would collapse within weeks of the UK leaving the EU, there would be 100,000's of job loses, financial instituions and companies would leave the UK en-masse and move to Europe, companies wouldn't invest in the UK anymore, the employment market, housing market, etc would all collpase, the UK would come to grinding halt.
Has he mentioned PR?Don’t agree, Starmer will do a good job. He will lead a coalition and bring in PR, this will then mean we never have to suffer an undiluted Tory gangster government again.
Nobody has, save some Conservative commentators who have been signalling to the Tories of the danger of a coalition winning and legislating electoral reform. None of the parties have admitted there is a non-aggression pact let alone what might/might not have been agreed regarding PR etc.Has he mentioned PR?
Actually thought I was in the Starmer thread and he had said something to get my hopes up and maybe even get my vote.Nobody has, save some Conservative commentators who have been signalling to the Tories of the danger of a coalition winning and legislating electoral reform. Never mind:-)
My mates wife is one of the recent class of whining Brexiteers. Mate and wife decamped to Spain pre Brexit and she refused point blank to transfer her driving licence. She now refuses to take the Spanish test as …big surprise.. the tests are all in Spanish.![]()
Britons in Spain to protest over Brexit change to licence rules that has left them stranded
Brits in Spain are asking 'how is it fair that an 18-year-old British tourist can come over here and rent a car at an airport, but I cannot drive?'inews.co.uk
You voted for this Brexit Benefit...

There are plenty of driving schools here that will do lessons and tests in English. I imagine most are not willing due to the cost. Probably best part of a couple of grand to get it done and many are on their arses anyway. My mates wife is one of the recent class of whining Brexiteers. Brings that brilliant quote from the tashed dipper Rush when he said ‘I couldn’t settle in Italy, it was like living in a foreign country.’
Speaking very generally us Brits really are a mob of halfwits.
