That's a report that Goebbels would've been proud of. They're not making a profit next year. That figure they're claiming as "profit" is Earnings or EBITDA. It doesn't take into account Amortisation (the 'A' in EBITDA), Depreciation or Taxation.

Amortisation alone will be around £150m or thereabouts. So that's got to be knocked off that 'profit'. EBITDA in 2021 was £96m and they still made a £33m net loss. They're still going to be reporting a loss next year as well.
Has Neil Ashton (and his United PR team) been working overtime again? The poor lad must be exhausted? And to think, he had a cushy number presenting Sunday (United) Supplement.

I think sky and all the other rag sympathisers in the media know the rags are goosed but can't bring themselves to break the story.
And I'll listen to you over every so called journalist and football expert out there as you know your onions.

At what point will they fall foul of FFP? That is a diabolical set of post-Covid figures, particularly as they recorded a rise in revenues. Their finances seem to be out of control. They are living on the back of a £500m plus debt to US banks. How can that be acceptable or sustainable? Compare the UEFA witchunt against City over 10 year-old accounts and relatively small amounts of money to the lack of any serious scrutiny of the appalling financial state of United, Barca, and Real Madrid.
