Phil seems to have got another £100,000 a week on what was rumoured last year?! I guess for his age and talent his family are no doubt looking at what others similar get paid and the likes of Grealish who get around £300,000 a week.

To be honest 250k/week seems like it’s beyond his contributions recently. Last season was very much treading water after 3 or 4 seasons of big improvement almost week by week, but he’s got another big step to climb up now.

But it’s not my money and the most important thing is keeping him here.

i agree about phil mate, even down to getting the constant haircuts and posting on social media like pogbad used to? He just needs to concentrate on his football and let his natural talent shine again. Keeping him here though is certainly a priority.

The simple fact is no one should get paid millions for kicking a football or pretending to be someone else. But while people are prepared to pay then it is what it is.

the haircut social media posts need to stop, especially getting his number shaved into his head etc. Phil needs to just play football and improve under Pep as he is without question a generational talent.

He recently stayed at a friends private villa they rent in Tenerife and they and the staff couldn’t sing his praises highly enough for being a top lad who was down to earth.
Young Footballers these days tend to be flashy. The world has moved on.
