Sorry to post a link from the mail.

Always upsetting that his mother never knew or found out where Keith Bennett was buried, but looks like Keith may have been found.

They moved his Mum and sister to a house opposite where I used to live in South Manchester. A lovely lady, very reserved obviously. Her daughter was very subdued and shy, again naturally.
I hope they find him to give him a proper burial to Rest in Peace.
A horrible and scary time.

Used to see her knocking about around Whitchurch Rd / Princess Rd in Withington.

Hope this is finally “it”.

Some news outlets reporting it as a child's skull. We really need to find out the circumstances behind the discovery and if it was a chance finding or was this a specific search for Keith that has yielded this discovery.
I pray to the almighty that it's him finally, Poor little boy. It's been too long but hopefully just hopefully he is no longer lost

Pretty much explains the background behind the search in the earlier link, with further info on what they have found.
It's got to be him, surely.

They should have ripped a part off Brady every year on the anniversary of Keith's disappearance until he revealed where the body was.
Unless the body was buried near a "landmark" of some sort (a bridge, road junction etc), it would be very difficult to pinpoint a precise location after 20 or 30 years, particularly when you haven't been back there. The Moors are a vast expanse, 90% of it very similar in appearance.

By the way, I'm not making excuses for Brady, or Hindley. They should both have been strung up.

Winnie used to live in Morley Avenue Fallowfield..her grandson White Tony was murdered in Cheetham Hill..she didn't have much luck with family.
Hope they have finally found Keith's body, but it's a shame Winnie not here.

Was that Tony Johnson??
I remember the reports of his murder in the 90s.
I never had a clue that he was related to Winnie/Keith.

Winnie used to live round the corner from us in Fallowfield at one stage, was so sad seeing her walking around in her old age.
