It’ll be more like this tonight:

———————Ederson———————
——————Dias———Laporte———
Cancelo———Gundogan——Gomez
—————Bernardo—————————
Mahrez————Alvarez——Grealish
————————Haaland—————
I'd prefer;

----------------------------------------------------———————Ederson———————
---------------------------------------------------——————Dias———Laporte———
--------------------------------------------------Cancelo———Gundogan——Gomez
--------------------------------------------------------—————Bernardo—————————
Mahrez--------------------------------------------————Alvarez——Grealish
---------------------------------------------------————————Haaland—————

Just trying to figure out Mahrez in midfield. Are we going three at the back with Cancelo and Grealish making a four in the middle with Alvarez haaland and Mahrez up front ?
4-4-2/4-2-4/3-3-4 depending on who has the ball and where we are in transition.

Hell, if we are dominating possession and field position, it’ll be a 2-4-4!!

Mahrez goal and assist today. I'll put money on it. Great man management yet again from Pep

Given the amount of goals he has scored in the early weeks of his Manchester City career, it is no surprise Erling Haaland is the centre of attention, nor that he is being linked with Real Madrid.

City have to deal with that - and also navigate round the speculation around a release clause in the contract he signed in the summer.

However, there are additional suggestions Haaland's contract contains a clause that is exclusive to Real and gives the Spanish giants a massive advantage if they wanted to buy him.

BBC Sport has been told those rumours are not true and there is no aspect of the deal that ensures Real get preferential treatment.

For their part, City are just enjoying the fact Haaland has turned them into overwhelming favourites win the Champions League for the first time in their history this season.
City are 3.25 (9/4) to win the CL - crazy heh;-)
