I wasn’t that impressed with La Bandera but I might just have been having a bad day, I did like LunyaBar San Juan and La Bandera are right up there with any Spanish food served in this entire country

La Bandera is right up there but go Thursday or Friday when the deliveries arrive
Canarian food has a bit of an African influence so some dishes are quite different to the mainland cuisine and not to everyone’s taste
I could just about handle a tin of Ambrosia rice pudding (if it still exists) but I'll let you have my portion of tripe ;)Tripe….the ambrosia of the gods.
Small time rags. Who'd have thunk it?Is this the media thread, or the culinary/restaurant thread?

Kinell, can’t stop laughing, just about scraped past a team with Brandon Barker starting. Imagine what we would have done to Omonia NicosiaIs this the media thread, or the culinary/restaurant thread?

I wonder if the BT coverage mentioned squad costs and wage bills?
I don’t really bother with Italian food but as I said previously my two Italian pals (Sardinia and Genoa) both swear by Salvis in town and Vesuvio in Boothstown.
The Sardinian lad worked at SanCarlo for years and said he wouldn’t let his dog eat there.
Best Spanish food in Manchester (and believe me I’ve tried them all) is Bar San Juan in Chorlton and La Bandera in the old Richfields club on Ridgefield off Deansgate (albeit the latter is more Canarian)
Where the Light Gets In in Stockport is pretty fantastic too
Loads of good food about but you need to find it, it won’t be in Instagram friendly wag holes like the Ivy, she needs to be more adventurous
Would Haaland/City have legal grounds against this article?
