VAR is a bit like Brexit.Just saw the penalty shout in the Rags game.
I ask again: how can people defend VAR in that situation?
No turning back, methinks.

It’s been said many times. VAR is great but it’s the dodgy cunts manipulating it that’s the problemJust saw the penalty shout in the Rags game.

Was there also a big shout for a red that the referee and VAR ignored (similar to the Rags penalty on Newcastle)?Thought the same. Villa unlucky to be behind at half time. Cucurella has looked very poor.
Yep mic the ref and var up.It’s been said many times. VAR is great but it’s the dodgy cunts manipulating it that’s the problem
‘Right check over no penalty as it’s Man United’Yep mic the ref and var up.
That'll be a good start.
This is an illogical argument, though, as I have also stated many times. It’s been said many times. VAR is great but it’s the dodgy cunts manipulating it that’s the problem
I know it’s a person but you can separate the man from the system ie the use of replays. Some referees may use it in an honest way and some may use it for a desired outcome. This is an illogical argument, though, as I have also stated many times.
VAR is the Video Assistant Referee. The humans are the main element of the system. So you can’t separate the dodgy cunts from the system.
If a system is not consistent (i.e. can return wildly different decisions from similar situations) than it is essentially a human, hence why you can’t separate the current VAR from the dodgy cunts.I know it’s a person but you can separate the man from the system ie the use of replays. Some referees may use it in an honest way and some may use it for a desired outcome.
