Kevin Horlock called in at MCFC match worn shirts HQ to share his Tales of Blue and the memories of the shirts he wore.

A real first-class fella whose love for the club shines through with his many stories including Kinkladze's new car and how he was to wear the 81/82 City away shirt while starring for his school team is quite a story.

What a guy.
First game I saw him against Northampton at home.
Sat in the Platt Lane he chases a ball down and the Northampton player goes down like a sack of shite.
Super Kev goes mental and calls the player a cheating cnut. Gets booked.
red mist comes down and he chases the same player and kicks him 10 foot in the air. red card.
Loved his commitment from that point.
Super Kevin Horlock.
Couldn’t get near him in The Green Man when he turned up.

One of my fav players from back in the day! Always felt a bit secure when he was playing
I used to "talk" to him quite regular when I was on twitter, seems a really decent guy and you get the feeling he gets us and the club. A bit like lescott is today when I see him on the box wearing city attire and saying "we" when speaking about us.

First time I saw him . Swindon away . He missed a penalty!!

He was playing for Swindon

He was at the bar at WHL beginning of last season at half time telling another blue he’s really a West Ham fan, with a southern accent, but his kids are all city. This lad/bloke had no idea who he was .

The lad looked at me to say what a w######.
Had great pleasure in telling him who he was
Proper embarrassed

I met Kevin Horlock in 2000 at a friendly in Ireland, Drogheda United v Man City. He was taken off at HT and watched the second half with him just stood at the railings near the changing rooms. He's sound as fuck! Gave me and my old man City t-shirts and gave us the match ball afterwards along with photos ect.

Top Top man.

Great story and typical Kev !

don’t forget your roots is all I can say he was brilliant my favourite player growing up
But his roots aren’t City.

He was born in Kent, and as far as I know, had no connection to the best club in the land; in all the world, before he signed for us.

Fair dues Kev, honesty and he stuck around when he didn't have to.

Was at the game, might have met you

Great player and a top bloke. Helped drag us back up in the prem and had a lovely left peg. Think it was Birmingham away when he scored a cracking goal.

He was manager of a local non league side a few years ago and I kept meaning to get up there and try speak to him but he didn’t last there long which is a shame.
