General Videogame Thread

For the flight simmers.
Wanted a VKB, couldnt get one, so settled on an x-56, and the negative reviews of the past are long gone, I love it. Seems the build quality has gone up a lot, and with the money saved I got a streamdeck xl to load various profiles on.
 
I downloaded the trial of fifa 23, every time i play at the etihad it's half empty......pretty fucked up that they wont out a full etihad in a video game played by millions of kids.


Noway in hell im buying it

Have you seen the stream deck used in DCS? Loads of profiles available, I’ve just ordered the xl from Amazon as this looks incredible. Loads of videos showing its use.

Yeah, to be honest I've been using the software for a while as my keyboard has a few integrated keys that support it but the process is exactly the same. Once you load it up you'll see how easy it is. It's even spilled over into having some of the sillier excel formulas I use at work stuck on there to have at one touch away. You can go a bit mad with it like.
 
A Plague Tale: Requiem is out :) Anyone that hasn’t played the first one, should add it to their list immediately imo. Great game, hopefully Requiem lives up to it.

Have you seen Terra Invicta?

Also finally a release date for KSP2. a few years late, and in early access to begin with, but that worked perfectly for KSP in growing it over the years so I'm ok with it. I've been playing the first one for 10 years from basic sandbox to finished product with one of the best modding communities around. Good to hear some of the prevalent modders have been hired in the development of 2.

 
Has anybody traded any games in recently? I have a few PS4 games I don't use anymore. Assuming you only receive a couple of quid in credit? Just wondering if its worth the bother.

I've never bothered, the price places like cex pay you may as well hang on to them incase they increase in value, or try eBay.

Occasionally you can get an anomaly but in general trade ins are not great value.

I've got a few, some will fetch nothing as they've been on monthly games or PS collection.

I'm getting MW2 so was just going to trade them in and get a few quid off but I'm just going to pre order from Amazon.
