Painful this. Blackburn players can barely run but City don’t seem to have figured out they’ve just got make runs down the flanks to get in at will. Get to the perfect position and pointlessly go back to halfway.
 
Excellent result from the girls. Good to see so many youngsters given a run out. Squad looks like they should deliver some silverware….
 
This game never entered the realm of being competitive. For all the possession we had the first half hour achieved little, but after the second, the pen, we scored regularly. I thought Esme was very impressive in the Rodri role, although she got caught a couple of times. Raso was exceptional and my PotM. She had the beating of the full back from the first touch. The last two goals were delightful!

This typified the pattern of play for the first thirty minutes. I'm sure I heard half a row behind me snoring! Yer get the impression that as soon as they get within sniffing distance of the oppo area they hallucinate and see a sign 'Anthrax! Keep Out!'

Does anyone think Sepp Blatter has been designing MCWFC shorts? They looked a little skimpy compared to the pair Erling might model.
