I have brain damage which is mostly hidden apart from me zoning out in busy places and i dont have filter so blurt out what i think , i can appear quiet but i am trying hard not to say somethinge inappropriate, fun !

I think everyone should get a month in a wheelchair just to experience it both from a practically point of view and the change in attitude from people.

Was in hospital after a seizure a few months back. Was my 3rd in a year and I'd gotten fed up and gone walkies after the other two so the registrar wouldn't let me go for a smoke unless I left my shoes, rucksack and phone behind and got brought out by one of the porters in a wheelchair, not the nicest experience.

Was my 3rd in a year and I'd gotten fed up and gone walkies after the other two so the registrar wouldn't let me go for a smoke unless I left my shoes, rucksack and phone behind and got brought out by one of the porters in a wheelchair, not the nicest experience.

You really end up feeling like a second class citizen at times, drives me mad.

Today’s update, they phoned up an cancelled the operation just as my ambulance was pulling into the hospital, that’s what you call last minute :-)
