San Francisco Police Chief William Scott indicated that when officers entered the home, they 'observed Mr. Pelosi and the suspect both holding a hammer. The suspect pulled the hammer away from Mr. Pelosi and violently assaulted him with it. Our officers immediately tackled the suspect, disarmed him, took him into custody, requested emergency backup and rendered medical aid.'

How’d they both have a hammer in their hand? Did the burglar bring his own and Paul just happened to have his hammer next to him?

I assume you're being deliberately obtuse?

"The suspect pulled the hammer away from Mr Pelosi" - one hammer that they were both holding.
Not complicated.

Last week one of their hate rallies came to my town, they were led in prayer by a minister calling for the death of their enemies. Pelosi was one of the people whose death they prayed for.

Oh wow, even hearing those names again brings a smile to my face.
I loved San Franscisco. My one and only tattoo was inked in lower Haight.
Stayed around Lake Merritt in Oakland for a couple of weeks (visiting a family friend....very distant family friend) before landing in a Youth Hostel near Union Sq for a couple of weeks.

Was in Vesuvios most nights (landlord John and friends over in Bolton here in GM).
This was around 25 years ago - then revisited two years later with my pregnant girlfriend (now ex!)
