That would be a laugh. Liverpool City was a rugby league club in the 50s. Then it became Huyton. Then it changed names several times more before being wound up in 1997.The City group should buy them, change the name to Liverpool City, massively asset strip the diseased carcass for three years or so and then dissolve them and bulldoze Anfield.
Don't know who Mark Ogden is ,but I'm thinking he must be a comedian. Yes?
Can't argue with any of this....
TAA, Anthony Taylor and Darren England like this post.He doesn’t have to give them outside the box though as VAR can’t get involved. In the box he’s no choice.
Two bald men fighting over a combA team who came 3rd out of 4 in their champions league group stage against a team who didn't even qualify for the champions league.
I'm not sure if this is right or not but I heard at the time the hack was revealed that City had been tracking Coutinho but on the strength of the scouting database info Liverpool stole they jumped in and bought him for peanuts. And of course sold him for so much money that it covered them for every player purchase for years. The only reason they recruited well is that they hacked our scouting system.
Funny how their more recent signings haven’t quite hit the mark, isn’t it?
Absolute state of this
Nah can’t see that, he was already well known to everyone, Inter paid a decent fee for himI'm not sure if this is right or not but I heard at the time the hack was revealed that City had been tracking Coutinho but on the strength of the scouting database info Liverpool stole they jumped in and bought him for peanuts. Has anyone else heard this?
It’s like when they played the dippers a few years ago and the papers, Talkshite and Sky were full of ‘is the Europa now better than the Champions League?’ nonsenseOverlooking the fact that both clubs qualified for the Europa League by failure.
Did our squad COST more than a billion pounds, or is its VALUE more than a billion?
Inter paid 4 million Euros for him as a 16 year old. Liverpool paid only £8.5 million for him.Nah can’t see that, he was already well known to everyone, Inter paid a decent fee for him
That was a decent fee for an untried kid from Brazil back then tbf, probably equates to what we paid for KaykyInter paid 4 million Euros for him as a 16 year old. Liverpool paid only £8.5 million for him.
I think that’s on the low side, Erling and Phil would cost about a third of that on the open marketI think he meant value.
Do they even believe their own nonsensical ramblings? It’s like when they played the dippers a few years ago and the papers, Talkshite and Sky were full of ‘is the Europa now better than the Champions League?’ nonsense
Consolation tales for yesterday’s menDo they even believe their own nonsensical ramblings?

The thick **** was raging when we put nine past Burton Albion, twattng on about ‘etiquette’.Ah Mark Ogden, remember when that tart got offended by a traffic sign ha!
It'a cost, as that's in the accounts. Value is subjective.I think he meant value.
For my sins I was listening to Talksport a few weeks ago and Jordan said our squad cost 1.2 billion to get to where we are now and then added up the players cost and included everyone we ever bought like Maicon Bravo Nolito etc.Did our squad COST more than a billion pounds, or is its VALUE more than a billion?
