The narrative is being set in the press that the reason FSG have put Liverpool up for sale is that they can’t compete any longer financially with City. That’s absolute rubbish!!!

They tried to trademark the name Liverpool but failed.

They were the ones behind project restart, which was effectively an attempt to grab more and more TV revenue but failed.

They, along with the Glazers were the English club contingent that plotted the Super League but that failed.

They even had to roll back on furloughing their non playing staff.

For all the media tried to make out that they have been the saviours of all football, they are in fact the worst example of corporate greed, and would have happily seen football go to the dogs in order to make a few quid. Thankfully they were blocked at every attempt and now having seen what Chelsea were sold for, they want out.
Good post and pretty much sums up the Liverpool situation. Media darlings and corporate whores.

You missed, “they’ve seen the League table and realize going out in the Round of 16 this year, and not even making the CL next season, is going to blow a big hole in FSG finances going forward, and they just don’t know what to do with Klopp!”

Rob Smith - Granada Reports Correspondent. The C*nt!

To Harriet Prior - Anfield Wrap. She was no better.

Smith: ”You don’t want a ‘Middle East State involved here”.

Prior: Constant references to the Middle East. Referenced Klopp: Other clubs have no ceiling and they are owned by states.(not United States) (an owner) Who will not have questionable human rights records. Etc

Gosh an interview with a member of the female Scouse undead.

Any new owners are F*cked

Why?

Because the Cult want a say in how the club is run. That is the power they have over the the current owners and potential new owners. No wonder FSG want out.

Liverpool supporters union, Spirit of Shankly, say it is seeking clarification from the club, but hopes to be consulted if the club were to be sold.

In a statement it said: "Spirit of Shankly have written to LFC for clarification and will await a reply before making comment.

"We do, however, expect both the Supporters Board and SOS to be engaged in some part of the process so that supporters are front and centre of any sale and the first thoughts of prospective owners."

Look if fucking China of N Korea came in and bought the club and committed to a £2bn transfer kitty all those scousers on there - who don't have a Liverpool accent - would piss their knickers at the prospect of that sort of investment and suddenly set aside any morals

Rather have no ceiling than making sure a stadium has no walls!

Fuck off Dippers, total non story.

Owners looking for investment because the US style leverage buy out model has fell flat on it's arse because of the economy.
Not enough profit for the fuckin Yanks with the complete turn around in interest rates.
The wonderful FSG are looking like the bunch of cunts they always were but that lot of dim fuck racist murdering cunts refuse to see it.

Can't set aside something they don't possess.

State owned whatever. Cant be arsed with it anymore. Football has changed and its changed for the better. This country has a gem of a product, its a global business putting this country at the centre of the football world (on the whole). The PL is worth even more now than its so called heyday. Why stop that, go for it.

Its all done under ffp anyway, And if the business owned clubs dont want to wider invest their money in the club, area, fanbase then they lose out. Football has changed. Liverpool are going to be stuck in the past.
