He made many errors - picked up a straight backpass in his debut; fucked up in the FA Cup semi vs Chelsea to name two off the top of my head. Very poor goalie

I always thought so. Seemed like he was trying really really hard to imitate ederson but it was not his natural game and a blunder was always on the horizon. He also had diabolical handling. Ortega seems comfortable in his role but I'll reserve judgment until he's played a few games and had something to do.
 
Never put a foot wring, excellent debut, early days offcourse but feel much more confident with hi. In goals than Steffen. Remember viewing an excellent video from @twosips when he was signed which involved a detailed analysis from a Goal keeping expert. If you haven't subscribed to Esteemed Konpany YouTube channel you really should do straight away

Not been any content for 10ndays so I assume the baby has arrived :)

There a thread about @twosips baby, all is good now but it was a trying week or so for the family.

he ran out chested a through ball down contorlled it then passed it
no suprise BT didnt show it tv coverage of live games is getting worse showing everything bar the live action

Maybe a bit too early to be sure, but it's looking positive. Thought flashed through my mind on Weds that if he had to come on in a CL final you wouldn't be freaked out at all. But I think I'm getting ahead of myself there on a number of fronts!
 
Nothing against Eddie, but I'd like to see Stefan start the next few league matches. I think he's done more than enough to justify that.

Great business bringing him in!
 
Really good performance. Surely putting the pressure on Ederson? Eddy is far more than a goalkeeper but Ortega looks like the full package. I don’t like the rule Ederson has where the first shot faced has to be a goal. It’s such a shit rule.
