Rashford hasn't played for 2 years while Trossard is on fire, but he leaves Trossard at home and Foden on the bench. The way Southgate plays it, as soon as we draw anybody half decent we'll be out again. Fucking clueless.

It would help if Trossard was English rather than a Belgian to get in the England team 8>)

Foden would have made a big difference to that game. I have a bad feeling about playing the lad against Wales, it will be a game with some nasty tackles and he would be targeted.

The fact is was 0-0 isn’t the reason it’s not coming home. Tonight’s performance isn’t the reason either.

The supposed Golden Generation (Beckham, Scholes Gerrard Lampard etc) were hugely overrated as well.....

We just dont produce enough technically gifted footballers.....and when we do they get kept on the bench (Foden)

Not even Foden makes a difference to that however as the rest of the players are bang average (in the attacking sense)

Golden Gen were always overrated, but I actually think this lot would have half a chance with decent management.

Foden's the obvious one, plays an ever larger part in winning 4 titles in 5 years in supposedly the toughest league in the world, but can't get in the England team? Mount in again but never does anything, Rashford's in despite being injured and out of form for the past 2 years, and so on. That doesn't happen in Spain, France, Brazil etc.
