Six years ago England and Wales fans teamed up and were fighting the Russians together, singing ‘fuck off Russia, we’re England and Wales’.

I get what your saying, but overall he has not done a bad job and has been our most successful manager for decades. The football isn’t always great, but he got to a semi final and a final.

In the past I’d have taken any style of football if it meant city could win a trophy. If England win the World Cup are you really that bothered if we don’t play the best football?

They didn't have much choice with that organised mob of steroid heads all kitted up. Tenerife was the usual pissed/coked up cretins not one of whom threw a decent punch or kick in the whole melee lol.

We're where we are in spite of him not because of him. He has the most talent at his disposal since 1990. We had the easy route in both competitions, our hardest game was Germany who were at their weakest in years.

Obviously I couldn't give a fuck if we stumble and fall to winning a trophy but I fear it won't happen with him m in charge.

Had the whole thing live streamed to me last night from one of the kids who works for me. Was some great action. Far more interesting than the shitshow of a match… :-)

Bang on. The last 2 tournaments parted like the Red Sea in front of us and we still drowned. Has he ever beat a team at a tournament ranked higher than England ?

If you have, could you translate them for me, not one utterance can I make sense of.

I don’t agree mate. As the manager he has played a huge part in us getting to the later stages, creating a team, rather then a group of individuals. We are miles better then we were a few years ago.

I also don’t agree with the your point about talent. In my opinion we’ve had much stronger sides, with better individuals. The 96 side and the 2004 side in particular - the failed generation. I think we have lots of overhyped individuals, with a couple of top talents.

We can’t help who we play either. We’ve had so called east games in the past and always lost or struggled.

I agree with your points about style of play/ negativity, but hopefully we can go far. I’ll take the boring football if we win a trophy
