Morocco have been outstanding in this tournament and punched well above their weight.

Portugal are a class act and will have too much in the attacking areas for them imo.

Morocco ran 120 minutes. They defended astutely and earned a glorious win via a lottery. Compared to Portugal, they lack strength depth and creativity. That being said, they did versus Spain. However, Dias doesn't let many pass him. I think Portugal will squeeze a goal in the first half and then come out firing on all cylinders. Perhaps Bernardo will hold a lovely 'Moroccan whiskey'* before the game.

Morocco have only conceded one goal all tournament and that was a penalty, pretty impressive.

Tough test tonight though, I would imagine Portugal will get at least one.

having only seen them properly this world cup play I would not be able to dismiss them so easily against a portugal side that only really impressed in the last game.

But having a team of players experienced with playing at PSG, Bayern, Seville, Chelsea, Fiorentina etc they could be a suprise semi finalist

He’s on the bench again

It was funny in the last game, they played really well when he was on the bench. it should dent his ego.

But today it’ll be even funnier if they lose today and he not starting. The aftermath would be brilliant. It would be chaos with him and his followers saying that’s the reason.

Big call, Morocco haven’t conceded from open play in the tournament yet.

But sadly I agree, I’m not sure they will keep that up and Portugal are more clinical than Spain.

Who knows though, if they can keep a clean sheet for 70 minutes, the Portuguese might start getting frustrated and rushing their work.

I’d say an early Portugal goal would be the start of the end for Morocco but we’ve seen in this World Cup you just never know.
