Interestingly the general consensus from likes on Lineker, Neville, Shearer etc is that they want him to stay
Simply put, Southgate has underperformed with the players he had, if there is an alternative then he has to go. It also needs freshening up, thanks for the job you’ve done but can we have an international coach that inspires us and gets us off our seats
That's because they're a bunch of cnuts.Interestingly the general consensus from likes on Lineker, Neville, Shearer etc is that they want him to stay

Nah, Shearer and Lineker are leg ends

Why would either give up well-paying jobs working with good players every day of the week for what is effectively a part-time job? Howe might consider it if he gets homesick again, but club football is the pinnacle in England, not the international team.I’m surprised GS hasn’t offered to resign…..that would have been the decent thing to do.
I would like Howe or Potter up next please FA….
Not that surprising when you look at the pundits - Ian Wright was his teammate at Palace, Shearer was in Southampton's youth set-up with him and Shearer, Wright and Neville played in the same England team as Southgate.Interestingly the general consensus from likes on Lineker, Neville, Shearer etc is that they want him to stay

well, we either win summat or play football that's exciting and good to watch. Many Southgate fans on here have indicated they don't expect England to win anything any time soon in any case so we might as well be entertained while we're losing. Oh, and at least Keegan had the stones to admit he wasn't up to the job.Probably the last England manager who tried to “Get us off our seats” was Keegan. And he has the worst win % of any England manager in history.
The typical yes menThat's because they're a bunch of cnuts.
Exactly, but the fa love him too much. Expect another contract coming his way soon for beating Iran, Wales, and Senegal and boring the pants off the nation against the U S of AI’m not sure it’s necessary to be a manager of Pep’s quality to be a success at international level but it necessary to have someone with a more progressive and flexible mindset than the reactionary, negative gobshite currently doing the job. Southgate has blown the past two major international football competitions and should have resigned or been sacked before he was on the plane home.
And BFS has the best...Probably the last England manager who tried to “Get us off our seats” was Keegan. And he has the worst win % of any England manager in history.
