it a game that gives something to smaller footballing nations as well as redemption for big teams beaten. Always though it was a good thing, even as a warm up to the final.
It’s a nothing game for the players and staff participating and is just further chance of sustaining injury, especially fatigue-related muscle issues (as has now happened to two players thus far).

Perhaps the federations prefer to have it, but I think the teams themselves would be fine with not playing it.

Haha VAR strikes again. Pathetic. Yet the few think it's great!!!! How is that not a pen? What is the point of VAR unless it's AT LEAST 95% full proof? Can one of the folk who like it properly explain to me why is it worth having. Not really heard a valid argument for it yet.

When we get back to the Premier League I will still complain about the officiating but I will do so with the knowledge that its no better anywhere else.

The standard of refereeing at this World Cup (at least in the few games I’ve watched) has been appalling.

Also, the Croat player went off in tears and is probably out for months now because of VAR. It was only a matter of time before someone got badly injured playing on from these utterly obvious offsides. He was miles off!!!!!

The ref has fondled the Moroccans more than Gary Glitter but Danny Murphy draws the line at touching the ref
