Fact that Frances best midfielder(all tourney) has been a striker shows how weak that part if their squad is. Kante and Pogba are miles ahead of Tchouameni and Rabiot

You look back at the France goals from 2016, 2018 and Euro 2020 and three quarters of them come from Pogba either crossing from 35 yards out, or playing through balls around half way.

For all his many flaws, the biggest of which is only turning up for France, very few players in the world make those passes which create goals from nothing and France definitely don’t have any.

Without him the midfield doesn’t really do anything.
