Unpopular opinions

Off the top of my head Frankie Carrodus, Ron Healey and Alan Jones played for a couple of the top teams back in the day when I played, there were quite a few others too, some cracking players back then.

Yes, Healey played in the game I was talking about earlier for The Lantern. May have been after they switched to The Royal Oak actually. Late 80s/ early 90s.

Sitting an exam to vote.......that's a novel idea, I'm sure it would run very smoothly and cause no friction or demonstrations. I mean it's not like you're disenfranchising people is it.

Being as the Scots voted remain, according to remainder logic, they are more intelligent than the English?
Funny to read somebody who fucked off to the other side of the world years ago seemingly be all for a Brexit vote. What’s the reasoning?

If you read my previous post I stated that I would've voted remain.
Why are you having a go at me ?

Sorry mate, didn’t mean to come across as having a go was genuinely curious as you’ve posted a couple of things on the subject recently.

I have, I stated that financially the UK is doing well GDP wise and unemployment is at record lows. In response to someone who wrongly stated that the GDP had reduced by 100billion since Brexit.

I did also say that if I'd had the vote as a British citizen I'd probably have voted remain. But people like me were not allowed a vote. (which is fair enough)

Funnily enough me and a mate were talking on Monday night about how many pubs are left in the whole of Wythenshawe. We were struggling after about eight.
Not including clubs, (Conservative, always surprises me how they outlived Labour clubs in Wythenshawe, Newall Green Club, not sure if it’s still open and those bar things in Northenden, as they aren’t pubs as such). I’ve got eight and I’ve counted two in Northenden. Just to think there was seven in WHP alone not including WHP Labour club and now only two.

Maybe hormonal pregnant women or at the "time of the month" should be omitted as well

Question;
Being as the Scots voted remain, according to remainder logic, they are more intelligent than the English?
It’s not disenfranchising them, it’s making them research and learn to still be able to have the same right they have now.

Is having to pass a fork lift truck test in order to drive the fork lift truck at work disenfranchising warehouse staff? No… just research the content of the test, pass it, and everyone in the warehouse can drive the truck.

Voting is the most basic human right imaginable.

Nobody should be omitted from voting because certain members of the populous deem them incapable of being able to do so on a level that they are satisfied wth. If someone wants to vote Monster Raving Loony they have every right to. Having a complete understanding of the current political climate or knowledge of each parties manifesto claims does not and should not be used as an excuse to exclude a person from having a vote in political matters.

Having the right to vote and being able to competently operate a machine are not comparable situations. If we're some denying some people the right to vote should those people also be denied access to clean drinking water unless they can prove they will do something productive that day?

You’re wrong.
