This is correct which brings me to my unpopular opinion, no one over the age of 50 should have been allowed to vote on Brexit, as they will all be long dead by the time the true outcome is apparent

I was well past your arbitrary cut off age yet wanted to remain.
You are wrong to class us all the same.
As I stated in one of my posts, anyone who remembers the recession this country was in before joining the common market should never have voted to leave the EU.

What are you on about?
I worked with the EU for three years re Treaty of Lisbon and first and second banking directives and their effects on UK. I suspect I know a damn sight more than you about the subject. As I have said, a short term economic only view won’t get you anywhere. I have no idea how it will work out, but ten years is a tiny fraction of our history. You sound too convinced that you are right.
Why do you think France and Germany are at each other’s throats at the mo, re defence, cancelling their regular joint cabinet meetings?
What do you think about mutualisation and socialisation of ECB debt? Do you even know what that is? It is easily the most important long term economic issue.
Both of the above are of key interest to the UK.
Do some homework, ignorance is where the shame lies.
PS “you lot” whomever you refer to is meaningless identity politics.

Let’s put it this way. Had the Tories put on a bus ‘things will be shit for over a decade but then might get better’ you wouldn’t be in the shitshow that is the U.K. today. That might not have quite garnered the votes you needed.
You lot is self explanatory and pretending you don’t know who it refers to is disingenuous.
I’m ok by the way, I’m still very much part of the EU.

I think you need a lie down. I notice you did not respond to any point I made concerning the issues. I suspect it is because you know nothing about them. Here’s a simple one for you: Should Italy‘s debt become an EU mutual debt? If you live in the EU, the answer will have a profound effect on your future.
PS I won’t post further until you take a more adult stance.
PPS By you lot do you mean Brexiteers? I am not one. Do you mean Tories? I am not one. Do you mean those who are profoundly worried about the EU’s direction of travel, especially in the light of Ukraine? I am one.
