It’s raining coins, lighters, spit etc round three. FA Cup Round 4.

Maybe the club can make some additional money by selling small stones and maybe glass bottles and half bricks to the Gunners faithful, if they have a stall just inside the turnstiles, I’m sure they can make a few more quid.
Just like that stall in the Life Of Brian, just before the stoning scene...

Two pointy one's, a flat one, and a packet of gravel for the kid.

Man up FFS its the Tarquins, the only things raining down on SS1 will be the odd glass of port, and some crackers with Stilton on

Dear Danny/Legal department
This is to advise that Manchester City Football Club have been made aware of the danger that Manchester City supporters have been subjected to in a number of home games this season. Many of our supporters have suffered injuries which could have been much more severe but fortunately the pots of urine, bottles, coins, pint pots filled with coins did not on these occasions inflict life threatening injuries. However serious injury was actually caused.
Despite all this Manchester City Football Club have decided to put the supporters of our club in the same dangerous position again. Despite CCTV it appears no opposition fans have been identified and charged with any offence.
Please be aware that any significant incidents/ injuries (with injuries being the minimal) will be followed up appropriately and professionally.

I was talking to a copper outside the swamp yesterday 10 chavs were arrested at the game 30 more are being hunted in London etc they have clear images and will be found, he was telling me the medical room was full of injured men women and children they were filing coins down like in the 80’s and throwing them causing head /face injuries horrible bastards

Not a single suggestion here as to how the club can allocate, safely, 7800 tickets to away fans. They have to be segregated, we have the means to do that only at the SS. So please send your suggestion instead of moaning. We have to give them that many tickets so we can’t ignore it or ‘ban’ them. You want to make a point?? Then don’t go. You think it is just about the money? Then don’t go, make your point with your feet. And I mean everyone.

There isn’t a set number of tickets that have to be given to away fans in cup games. there has always been guidelines but one of the most significant if not the most significant factor is fan safety. Hence if the club say gave visitors the bottom two tiers of the South Stand approx 5000 tickets then that would be fine. I remember that cup tie in 2012 against the scum when they moaned they wanted more than the two tier South Stand but got fucked off on safety concerns. So there you have it, a simple answer, you’re welcome!

Is this a piss take ?

logistically the away fans can only go in the SS for safety reason, why this cannot be the full bottom teir I have no idea, but they ain't moving from the SS and it seems that the bottom teir is deemed worse than housing them in 2 and 3.

I have no issue with that as a south stander, however after 2 games to judge what actions are needed to stop the pint throwing etc then I would expect something new in control measure for the arse.

if not city are clowns

The way City are playing, I don’t think the Arsenal fans will be throwing anything as they’ll be celebrating a win.

That aside. Is away 6000 tickets in L3 not enough?

Why doesn’t the club approach the FA (and the other club) and ask for special ticket dispensation, explaining the on-going problems, and asking for the away ticket allocation to be reduced to 6000 tickets with no away fans in L2 above the City fans.

As I keep on f*cking repeating to the f*cking brain dead directors and decision makers at City, put up large netting at the front of L3 and L2.

All it takes are metal brackets placed into the bottom of the concrete walls, and tall poles with netting, placed into them, and stretched out along the length of the tiers. It won’t be expensive.

But instead they’ll throw £1000’s trying (in vain) to improve the match day experience, like laser shows, etc instead of making sure City fans are safe and protected on a match day, which is a much more important and better match day experience, is it not?!

One more small point. Not a f*cking word from the club about Liverpool or Chelsea fans throwing objects at City fans and what the club are doing about and have done about it. Everything at the club is done in total secrecy, and there’s not one bit of feedback to the fans. Sorry I forgot, the tie in with Liverpool football club and that disgusting email that was sent to City fans.
