Thing is Kenwright could say am stepping down from the board am just going to be a fan now because of my health that in an instant will appease and have the feel sorry factor in one go! Farhad Moshiri should say am still going invest in Everton in the future
But as you all know ffp is on us and we welcome our new manager Dyche to stabilise us and push us up the table then on to our new stadium..
It’s not just Kenwright though they want rid of

We know from our past how toxic it gets

Our journey down the leagues was fucking horrible at the time. We laughed at ourselves but, inside we were crying. Gallows humour got us through.
I watched Sunderland Till I Die and felt their pain.
No animosity towards Everton because they’re not that lot.
Every decent Scouser I have ever met was an Evertonian.
They look so similar to Us & The Mackems right now. Good luck Toffees keep the faith.

A change in manager can always keep a team up with a fresh feel to everything.

But going down and winning more games in the Championship can be far more enjoyable than struggling in the Prem.

Obviously, with very few living Everton fans having experience of that before, getting relegated might seem like the end of the world. But getting promoted is fucking brilliant. Had some of my best days ever following City enjoying a promotion.
Thus 100%
One of my most enjoyable seasons ever was 2002 under Keegan, 99 points.

Somebody explain how we drew at home to these... What a catastrophically bad result that was from us.

I know they've had injuries but there's 3 worse squads in the league than Everton, they shouldn't be going down, they'll have to pull the plug on Lampard at some point, then its step forward the ginger Mourinho to save them.

Everton should have gone down when the Wimbledon goalkeeper took a butty and regrouped Not their fault but they have been treading water. They were fucked over by Heysel and they must never forget that. Liverpool and United are the same rancid skin infection for different reasons.

I hope City win the League/ Champions League, just for this post

Fuck me they cant go for a dinosaur like Dyche. His famous comment of Burnley can only play one way.Look what Vinny has done there.
Listen i think they are going down and need to appoint a young energetic manager with a modicom of success behind them maybe someone like Warne or Lowe.Learn from mistakes that City,Sunderland,Wednesday etc made.

The most inevitable managerial appointment of all time.

Not saying they should do that, just what I think will probably happen. They won't just accept relegation without a last throw of the dice and sacking lampard. I do actually think Dyche would stand a better chance of keeping them up than Lampard just because they look like they need a change to stand a chance but it will just be prolonging the inevitable under him anyway.

True. New teams to see and new grounds to visit. Plus, you win a higher percentage of games than when struggling in the Prem so the post-match positivity returns.
And you don't have to play the two arse cheeks unless you get them in the cup.

Lampard is getting stick and will probably get sacked. But when you look at the Everton squad, it is just bang average. They try hard enough, they work hard like they did against us, the players aren’t individually awful, but there is just nobody who can do anything special or lift the team. Richarlison was the saviour last year, I’m struggling to see who is going to step up this time. I’d like them to stay up, but I’m not optimistic. When the standard of an entire squad is so mediocre it isn’t just a manager issue, it is a long term failure of policy and strategy as a club.

Every decent scouser I have ever met was an Evertonian. How that rings true. Always had respect foe the bluenoses. The shining light in a self pity city. Had a load of good chats with em near goodison. Proper fans, don’t deserve the shit Kenwright and Moshri serve up.

I do feel for Everton. They thought the investment would return them to glory but they've squandered it. You can't stay up buying defenders from clubs at the bottom of the table and strikers who don't score. Sell Richarlison and buy Maupay. Madness.

Lampard has to go. They have to try something new now. But long term, going down and rebuilding is probably the best thing for the club. They'd realistically only be down for a season with their stature as a club. But I guess, for Everton fans, it's the fear that they never return that makes this such a desperate situation. Plenty of big clubs have struggled to get back as quickly as they hoped or expected.

I hope they can stay up, and I had hoped Lampard could do a job there as always liked him as a player.

The problem of going down is trying to get back up

we all thought the best thing for us was to go down and rebuild but we nearly fell into a deep coma
