Ref should have booked Pickford after 65mins then he could have legitimately sent the 2hat off ten minutes later. I remember Ederson getting booked at Brighton away last season when he took his first goal kick midway through the 2nd half.
The World Cup showed us how the time keeping should be done in these circumstances. The Premier league coming out with a statement that they will not be following suit just proves that they condone teams cheating their way to a result.
 
Don’t mind Everton. Respect their support, hope they stay up and start challenging for honours. One of their own Joe Royle did a great job for us.

But for one game only I hope tonight Brighton go one goal up and then their players take it in turn to fake injury and give a time wasting masterclass to get the points. All with the refs blessing

Then apart from when they play us I hope Everton do well for the rest of the season.

Jock Thomson is another, he took over from Sam Cowan prior to Les McDowell. Ron Saunders played 3 games for The Toffees.

Typical that. Lose to Brighton and wolves at home, either side of taking 2 points from us.
