That sets them apart from all of the clubs you mentioned.

You also get a lot of intangible stuff owners might like. Founding member of the football league, never relegated from the PL, 4th most league titles in English football history, famous rivalry, famous city.

I agree. For all their recent problems - and we’ve been there too - they are a club with both a great history and huge potential. They’d be well up my list if I had a few hundred million to spend on a football club.

As Kenwright once said, one famous football club told me, what would the Everton board do, because they always get it right. See you have geniuses in charge.

Always cracks me up when I think of that quote. The level of stupidity and arrogance to make that public is staggering.

I also hoped whoever said it broke down laughing uncontrollably once Kenwright was out of view :)
