How did they manage to keep us down to one goal?
If that strategy worked in one game, why not adopt for other games?
They probably think they can have a go at the midtable to lowertable teams .......... would you honestly want to watch that anyhow ?????

Yes city were run into the ground financially by Swales and got to the point where they were relying on free transfers and loans, occasionally selling someone and buying a replacement for half the money. like a small club.So be seen to be doing something the manager was regularly sacked but the next one really had no more chance. If Everton did get relegated there could be a danger of that with no pl money.
They would get parachute payments for two or three years and they'll get millions more in gate receipts than any other Championship team with the possible exception of Sunderland.

I don't want to be relegated. Not looking good though is it?

Plus, imagine the kopites having a parade to celebrate us going. They would never shut up. It would mean more to them than 6 times lad! I would have to put up with so many people who have never been near my city telling me how great the reds are. And, the BBC would explode.

If they are financially stable I agree but with city there was hardly anything left after interest payments etc to tun the club with so.couldnt really match their competitors for player recruitment.

True.
I doubt Everton have included clauses to reduce wages in the event of relegation in any player contracts so they could be in trouble if they are stuck with paying PL wages to players who don't earn them.

Lampard is a BIG BOY. The fat jokes write themselves.

Luckily, Brendan Rodgers and Nathan Jones exist so he's not the most embarrassing manager in the PL right now.
