That is very worrying we are heading for a 3rd world Army and economy if the Tories get back in, we are not investing despite what we are told

If they still actually gave a shit the rest of the EU would be pissing themselves but truth is they are past caring about us and thats our biggest obstacle to rejoining
 
The investment figure right down at the bottom Truss may have had the right idea only she crashed the economy. Rejoining the EU will cost us and we won’t get the rebate it’s tough now but it’ll get even worse “austerity“ until they let us back in

The battle lines have been drawn, at least we have sight at what is coming while the country is set aside and laid to waste.

They have spent 13 years hollowing everything out cutting back on everything originally based on the dogmatic political choice of austerity then since 2016 through the prism of Brexit - we are supposedly the 6th largest economy in the world. Where has the money gone? I'll tell you where - into the hands of the wealthy few who have squirreled it away off shore - all the cash that has been generated but its not put back into the economy - its certainly not paid in taxes that would fund public services and the armed forces - its not invested in infrastructure - in fact the only way private money gets involved in anything is if the public via the Govt will underwrite any risks they may be exposed to

Lets be honest in 13 years the Tories have well and truly fucked the country they profess to love having been aided and abetted by some fools at various ballot boxes

Tory governments nearly always end up mired in sleaze with huge whiffs of corruption, they just cant help themselves when there is money hanging around to give to there pals. As they are cheered on by a voracious RW media I get the feeling the surface of what they have been up to has barely been scratched but hopefully it will all come out in the end.

When Angela Rayner called them "scum" she should have prefaced it with the words "utter fucking"
