The Positives

Could of nicked a draw with that Mahrez chance. Lady Luck was on her break today after yesterday's result.

We are going to win the Champions League.

In the last eleven years, only four times has the CL been won by the team who also won their league title. No English club since United in 2008 has won both the Prem and CL.

Liverpool have finished 5th, 37 points behind the Prem winners, yet won the CL.

Chelsea have finished 6th, 25 points behind the Prem winners, yet won the CL; and 4th, 19 points behind the Prem winners, yet won the CL.

We’ve been bobbins since the clocks went back and we’re looking likely to do well to finish second, I think that would be a good Prem season for this team. But I feel that’ll give us a better chance of winning the CL.

I think it's important not to overreact, but unless Pep invents a genius tactic that works, and our players find their form, we have as much chance of winning the CL as the County Championship.

There is obviously something very wrong. We can speculate, but (unless someone has inside knowledge) we don't know what it is.

We have some very good players, but most are out of form (at best).

We’re alive to see us win, lose or draw.
Deep I know, but having lost one of my best mates at the start of the season, it puts everything else in to perspective. Seeing his teenage son and daughter not having their Dad around makes a football result an awful lot less important.
I lost my best mate in 2016.grew up with him from being 15.
4 weeks after he droves us back from london after beating
liverpool in the carabao cup final he died to fucking cancer.
he was always pro city in everything , but i know he'd be
concerned at us this season.

Far better city sides have managed to fuck up the CL year in year out despite being told by everyone we’re the “best team in the world”

I don’t see how this team can be any different

clutching at straws.
not a cat in hells chance.
Why not? You can have anything from an inconsistent to a terrible league season and win the CL, like I showed in the rest of my post.

Still got nearly half a season left.

It's 8 points but 6 of them are Arsenal home and away, so it's more in our control than it might otherwise have been (that's 6 points where we just need to beat our rival, not both win our game and hope someone else does us a favour in beating them).

Still in Europe. Still in the FA Cup.

Nothing is decided yet. We're not playing at our best and we need to make improvements but we're still in with a shot at some silverware, still plenty of chances for heroes to shine and memories to be made.

And we're not Liverpool, and we're not Chelsea.

Everything to look forward imo. The club is in great shape. Few stumbling blocks at present which will be resolved in time. Fantastic manager in charge and some very good players.

The next 10 years will be as good if not better than the last. Also we are not the rags or the dippers so that something to be grateful for lol.

Keep the faith blues, this is nothing but a little bump in the road. We used to have a huge problems in the past but not anymore. The only issue we have now is being disappointed with maybe not winning 3 league in a row playing breathtaking football.

This rough patch is nothing to us. Upset and disappointed but excited to see how we fix the issues and what players we bring in.
