The Positives

Everybody expected Arsenal to win but not everybody expected us to win

So a lot of people expected us to be more than 5 points behind right now

Let’s hear what they are:

We’re second in the league and like it or not that means we’re in the title race. Who’s to say the Arse won’t bottle it - they lost to a previously woeful Everton yesterday. We also have a centre forward who is on for breaking all sorts of scoring records this season. We have players and managers who know what it takes to win the league. We can still do it.
There are no positives, we are lower that at any time in the Pep era, something is very wrong in the dressing room , is that not obvious?

And I am sick of hearing we have become entitled.

We are one , if not the wealthiest clubs in world football, we have some of the best players, coaches etc, we are not a shambles run by a TV rental man.

Nothing positive about repeating the same mistakes and expect a different outcome. 5 games in the Spurs ground without scoring one goal!!! Liverpool, Arsenal, Villans, The Magpies and more played in the
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and managed to win and scored minimum two goals.

Ive been saying the same for a while.

Pep employs the definition of madness on far too many occasions.

We need to make sure we secure top 4 no matter what happens. There was a champions League in Pep and this group of players. Last year was it unfortunately.
Spot on. That was our chance. We won’t get another until we rebuild and that will take 2-3 years to develop possibly with a new coach. It has the feel of an end if an era. A lot of players will coming and going and we’ll face a lot competition for the best players. Haaland might be gone by then anyway. He’s not going tolerate this current style of football for too much longer. Zero touches today in Spurs penalty box is shocking. Typical that we buy a superstar that is the envy of everyone and we don’t know how to play to his strengths.

Pep is an ODD fucker, time to get in a proper No2 to EVEN him up.
I've thought that for a while mate he needs someone challenging his ideas not just nodding in agreement, which is rightly or wrongly the impression I get.

We haven’t beaten any of those teams you’ve just listed this season
(not played one of them yet mind)

Maybe he has become too powerful at the club, maybe time for Khaldoon to challenge him?

Losing Fern last year was a huge blow, not as a player but as a leader of the players.

Something is clearly wrong and we need a strong man in that dressing room sorting it out and kicking the appropriate arses.

The odd player out of form/salts is normal but our players have fallen off the cliff and all at once, something has clearly changed.

I think rat face has indoctrinated our Portuguese contingent
Something isn't right when Cancelo fucks off, Ruben can't get a game and Berny is half arsed..
Not buying the fatigue shit from any of our WC stars bar Alvarez and he's shown more willingness to fight since returning.
The others all had ten days before the WC, then almost 2/3 weeks after without a competitive match ( KDB Gungog , a week less the England boys). Add to that a nice long summer and there really is no excuse.
Not in my eyes anyway.

We are stale, most of that comes down to the tail end of Kevs career having a huge impact and the tinkering with the defence by Pep who could have played either Laporte or Ake at LB and had Diaz in the defence.

Half of Spurs breaks would have been shut down before they started with a Fernandinho type midfielder, and don't get me started on leaving the left back slot completely vulnerable, the most disappointing thing for me yesterday was the lack of variety up front because we really did bore them to death.

Just offer fern whatever he wants to be number 2

Rico Lewis. Thrown to the wolves today but he's gonna have a great career with us.
Not if he’s playing in midfield he’s not. Lads an excellent prospect as a full back but that role he was in yesterday doesn’t help him or the team. Leaving Gundo and KDB out to play Lewis in midfield is madness even for Pep.
