Thinking of Doha for a long weekend in Mid Feb... anyone been
Very similar to Dubai, well worth a visit. Prefer Muscat to either of them though, beautiful country and lovely people.

Just booked a brace of Haven Holidays off peak in silver Caravans for pennies.

Anyone been to Menorca in the summer holidays? We have flights booked (changed from somewhere else I was going last year) and a bit rushed to be honest.

Hotels look quite pricey for what you get and I have no idea of what the resorts are like.

Any ideas for resort?

I’m thinking of changing it but wonder if I’m being a bit hasty.

First foreign trip of the year done: Madrid, Segovia and Toledo - all done in 2 nights!

We've been to Madrid a couple of times before so this time we were using it as a base for trips out to Segovia and Toldeo. Both beautiful cities and well worth a visit.

Looked yesterday whilst bored of our midfield refusing to pass to Haaland.

5 of us to go Majorca for a week, all inc, with very little change from £5k. August dates.

I’m inexperienced in hols abroad as I love Blighty, so is that a good price? Hotel was decent and handy flight times. 3 adults 2 teens.

Off to Venice for the carnival in February,

Booked for Nerja in September. First overseas sunshine holiday for 5 years. Much more pricey than we wanted to pay but we work hard and deserve it, so sod it.

If you going in August mate those will be the prices you pay. Not sure how old the kids are but if below year 9 be cheaper go in June and pay the fine for taking them out of school

The last time I was in Venice I visited a load of churches.
Not religious in anyway but it was a great trip.
Some beautiful churches well worth the planning involved.

I know.
Done all of them and more.
My favourite is the Jesuit church in Cannaregio.
Been going every year for over ten years apart from covid.
