This hopefully galvanises the whole club, as a fan it feels a personal attack on me Siege mentality let’s stick together like in the dark days c’mon city!!
The opposite would probably apply I’m afraid given our incredibly loyal fan base mateIf we did get relegated then at least tickets would be cheaper. and the atmosphere would improve a lot as well. but hope we fight the case and win
Yes, but that’s just a filler and we can plead autrefois acquit. I know this is not a criminal charge in a court, but the principle is that we have been cleared of this by another body so it is unfair to try again. Some of the charges relate to non-compliance with UEFA's ffp investigation.
Got to remember mate the old lot are still around but we have attracted new supporters that only know success. I live in Kent and so many young kids these days are wearing City tops. To be honest I struggle with losses these days and we were shit when I started supporting CityWhere’s our 1990s/early00s spirit gone? We used to have thick skin and could take anything. Our attendances went up when we got relegated, while our neighbours won the lot.
We didn’t fuck it off then and it should bring us together now.
Premier League wanting to show they are doing something...
This !!So there are 100 charges. Are you telling me that ALL other PL clubs are squeaky clean in relation to all 100? I think not. Surely City’s lawyers can ask for evidence from the PL that other clubs have also been investigated in relation to the same rules.
End of Sheikh Mansour hahahahaha, this site today is hilarious. Not a chance.
They won’t lose they have a cartel of American clubs behind themGoing to be very interesting. I tell you what though if the PL lose these cases, they are finished as an organisation. High stake for both us and them.
That's a weak statement that suggests we have been caught on the back foot. What usually happens in these sort of disputes is that both sides' lawyers agree to be open and transparent with each other. I find it hard to believe that City didn't have an inkling of this move in advance. The body language of Pep and the players in recent weeks gives a clue surely. If we really are "surprised" then we have been ambushed by the PL.Manchester City FC is surprised by the issuing of these alleged breaches of the Premier League Rules, particularly given the extensive engagement and vast amount of detailed materials that the EPL has been provided with.
The Club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.
As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.
This will rumble on for years, that's what they want, more negativity towards our club.Only 2 would be relegated from the PL plus us, but this is going to take a long time to resolve and I don't see it being this season.
