Well done Pep, to the players and to all Blues who turned up today. Great first half, less so in the second, but the defiance of everyone was on show for the whole world to see.

Watched a yank stream Robbie Earle seems pretty sound. Conversely, Stephen Warnock is an imbecile in glasses.

The game was won. Pep will have told him to just keep it simple and don’t take any risks.

I was happy he got some minutes before a huge game on Wednesday.

Excellent 1st half performance, great fast tempo and good intensity. We moved the ball a lot quicker and we looked dangerous every time we attacked. Second half we took the foot of the gas and in the last 20 mins we got sloppy in possession and Villa could have a got a second. Rodri was immense throughout especially the 1st 45 mins and both Laporte and Dias looked good. I hope Dias was n't injured because Akanji worries me and looks vulnerable. All in all a good afternoon.

It's an idiotic statement made by a complete buffoon. You don't get points for winning half a game. He needs putting out to pasture.
 
I thought we played well first half. Having Dias and Laporte in the defence makes such a difference. I will never understand how Akanji starts so many games. A 5th choice CB for me. The game was won at HT and the changes made a difference. Weds is huge.
 
Usually I hate 3 at the back formation, but this game it was fine.

We just need another player like Riyad on the right
 
First half we were very very good and could easily have been 5 or 6 up..the clash by Martinez and Haaland was a 50/50.. not a foul but not a penalty either..should have allowed the goal in my opinion.
Second half we took our foot off the gas but still created enough to have bagged a few more..they caused a few problems but they had nothing to lose by having a go.
Rod was excellent as was jack and Gundo..
Nice to see kev getting back to his normal self..great to see Laporte and Ruben back..
Great 3 points and sets it up nicely for Arselina on Weds.
